Topping-out ceremony celebrated at the Pillar Iļģuciema mājas project

Marking the achievement of the building’s highest construction point, a topping-out ceremony was held for the apartment building project Pillar Iļģuciema mājas in Riga, at Spilves Street 27 / 29.

This project is a continuation of the development of energy-efficient housing in Riga, carried out by the real estate developer Pillar. Iļģuciema mājas is already the fourth A+ energy-efficiency class apartment building project developed by Pillar in Riga, and the first in Pārdaugava.

The new project, being built by Pillar Contractor, is located in Iļģuciems, at Spilves Street 27 / 29. The project consists of two 7-storey buildings with 55 apartments in each. The buildings will offer two-room, three-room and four-room apartments with full interior finishing, ranging from 47 to 86 square metres. Each apartment will have a separate utility room for more convenient storage and a balcony or terrace, as well as individual storage rooms on the first floor of each building. Air quality in the apartments will be ensured by a premium-class individual ventilation system with a heat recovery function. Clients will also have the option to install an individual air conditioner in the apartment – another significant comfort improvement.

With an aesthetic and safe environment in mind, the courtyard of the project will not only be richly landscaped, but a children’s playground will also be built for varied outdoor recreation. For residents’ convenience, the territory will include parking for apartment owners, as well as parking spaces with electric car charging options.

On the first floor of each building, a lockable shared room will be available for storing bicycles and baby strollers, and a lockable and secured shelter for bicycle storage will also be built on the premises. For a more convenient everyday life, the building is planned to have an elevator.

There are several kindergartens and schools in the immediate vicinity, which will make planning the daily route easier for families with children.

The project is planned to be commissioned at the end of 2026, and the first residents will be able to receive the keys to their new home as early as the beginning of 2027. Total investments in the project are planned at just under 13 million euros.

To date, Pillar has built new apartment buildings in Mežciems, where a second phase is already planned, as well as in Dārzciems and Dreiliņi. A new project is also planned soon in Purvciems, and more new projects will be developed in other neighborhoods.

The companies of the Pillar group have been operating in the real estate sector since 2006. Over these years, Pillar has become a full-cycle real estate developer, accumulating significant experience and expertise in development and construction projects of all types and scales.
