We achieve success at the Latvian Construction Annual Award 2024!
On Thursday, March 6, the final ceremony of the Latvian Construction Annual Award 2024 and Latvian Engineer of the Year in Construction 2024 competitions took place, honoring the best companies and specialists in the industry.
We are proud that this year we have once again received awards in several categories.
Latvian Construction Annual Award 2024
The high 1st place in the “Timber Building” category was awarded to the Salaspils 7th Preschool Educational Institution, built by Pillar Contractor and located at 2A Rubeņu Street, as the project is an excellent example of sustainable and high-quality timber construction. Client: Salaspils Municipality Council; designer: MADE arhitekti; construction supervisor: Prokrial.
The Two More Beers restaurant, opened in London in November last year, was also recognized with a certificate of appreciation in the “Reconstruction” category. Client: AmberStone Hotels. Latvian Engineer of the Year in Construction 2024
In the “Construction Manager 2024” category, Pillar Contractor was recognized with a certificate of appreciation, while two of our colleagues received prize-winning places:
- Pillar Contractor’s responsible construction manager Jānis Marks Marcinkevičs won 1st place in the “Young Specialist 2024” category.
- Pillar Contractor senior project manager Jānis Keiselis won 2nd place in the “Project Manager 2024” category.
These awards are yet another confirmation of our team’s professionalism, responsibility, and high quality standards.
The Latvian Construction Annual Award, organized for the 11th year by the association “Building Design and Construction Council” (BDCC), is an important event that promotes the sustainable and productive development of Latvia’s construction industry.
