Pillar Contractor begins implementation of a large-scale project – the construction of New Hanza apartments

Continuing to develop a modern and sustainable urban environment in Riga, the company New Hanza Development began construction of the New Hanza apartments at 10 Gustava Kluča Street in October.
Four buildings, which will be built simultaneously, will offer 258 apartments, 6 retail commercial premises and 185 parking spaces. In addition, Hanzas Park, adjacent to the apartments, will be created, and the construction of the quarter’s streets and utilities will be completed.
The New Hanza apartments will consist of four energy-efficient Class A buildings with modern apartments featuring full interior finishing. The offer will include two- to five-room apartments suitable both for young families and active city dwellers who value comfort and a high quality of life.
The apartments will be equipped with a smart home system, allowing owners to remotely control the apartment’s heating, ventilation, underfloor heating, electricity, security alarm, intercom and fire alarm. They will also be equipped with the highest-quality air heat recovery system. It will be possible to install air conditioners in the living rooms and bedrooms of the apartments. High-quality finishes are planned, including wood/aluminium windows, parquet flooring, and veneered wood floors with panelling up to the ceiling.
Apartment owners will be able to use the underground car park and bicycle storage facilities. Hanzas Park will be located right next to the apartments – New Hanza’s green heart for relaxing in nature right here in the city.
The project is being developed on a street named after the artist Gustavs Klucis, in the New Hanza quarter – one of the most promising districts of Riga’s city center, distinguished by modern architecture, spacious green areas, and well-developed infrastructure. For residents’ convenience, landscaped inner courtyards, children’s playgrounds, and a greened area with illuminated pedestrian zones will be created. Public transport stops, schools, kindergartens, as well as shopping and leisure facilities are located nearby.
The project is planned to be commissioned in autumn 2027. Apartments in buildings A and D are already available for reservation, while the sales prices for buildings B and C will be announced in the second quarter of 2026.
Construction work is being carried out by Pillar Contractor.
