Pillar Contractor has begun the reconstruction of the primary school building in Lubāna

In October, construction work began on the renovation of the Lubāna city primary school building, which is being carried out by our group company “Pillar Contractor”. The work is being implemented within the framework of the Madona Municipality project “Development and Equipping of Educational Institution Infrastructure”. The aim of the project is to improve the learning environment of the general education institution, ensuring efficient use of resources and strengthening the primary school, thereby promoting access to quality education outside the municipality’s administrative center.

The primary school premises will be renovated, including utility networks such as water supply, sewerage, heat supply, ventilation, electrical wiring, the low-current network, and others.

The total cost of the construction work is EUR 2,582,830, including EUR 1,274,368 in funding from the European Union Recovery Fund and EUR 1,308,462 in co-financing from Madona Municipality. The construction work is being carried out by SIA “Pillar Contractor”, designer supervision is provided by SIA “BM-projekts”, and construction supervision by SIA “Būvrem”.

 “Pillar Contractor” achieved turnover of EUR 43.097 million and profit of EUR 1.203 million in 2024. The company was founded in 2015 and is owned by AS “AmberStone Group”.
