The upcoming apartment hotel Carillon Aparthotel celebrates its topping-out ceremony
Marking the reaching of the building’s highest construction point, the topping-out ceremony for the future apartment hotel Carillon Aparthotel was celebrated on September 20 in Old Riga, at 13 Pils Street.
The new hotel will be located in a pre-war six-storey masonry building that once housed both apartments and offices. After reconstruction and conversion for hotel use, the building’s total area will exceed 5,000 m2.
The opening of the new hotel is planned for the second quarter of 2025. It will feature 61 newly built apartments, some of which will have views of the Dome Cathedral; each room will have a kitchen, and several rooms will also include terraces.
Investment in the development of the hotel is being made by AmberStone Hotels, SIA, a subsidiary of AmberStone Group, AS, whose planned investment through its subsidiary Carillon Apathotel, SIA will exceed 12 million euros.
The general contractor for the building reconstruction works is Pillar Contractor, SIA. The project architects are the architectural bureau Vilnis Mičulis Arhitekti. The design is being created by Kristīna Reinberga and Vilnis Mičulis Arhitekti.
AmberStone Hotels, SIA has begun developing the Keystone Collection hotel chain, and Carillon Aparthotel will be the second hotel included in this chain. The first hotel in the chain, Konventa Sēta Hotel, was officially opened after reconstruction in May 2024. Both hotels will be managed by Keystone Management, SIA.
A 4-star hotel in Old Riga is also still in the planning process and will likewise be included in the Keystone Collection hotel chain.
