A modern magnetic resonance imaging unit will start operating at New Hanza Med

In mid-February, the diagnostic radiology service provider e-radiologs will begin operations at New Hanza Med, a medical center developed by a subsidiary of AmberStone Group, located at 1 Mihaila Tāla Street in Riga, opening a new, modernly equipped magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examination room.
In the new MRI room, patients will have access to a wide range of magnetic resonance imaging examinations – examinations of the brain, spine and musculoskeletal system, joints and soft tissues, and breasts (mammary glands), as well as diagnostics of disc herniations, ligament and muscle injuries. Examination reports will be prepared by experienced radiology specialists, ensuring precise and comprehensive diagnostics that meet modern standards.
Examinations will be performed using the latest-generation 1.5T magnetic resonance imaging system Philips MR 5300 with BlueSeal technology, which ensures high-quality imaging and significantly improves diagnostic accuracy.
The construction of the magnetic resonance imaging room was carried out in cooperation with New Hanza Med. The design and construction work was performed by Pillar Contractor. The delivery of the top-class Philips diagnostic equipment was provided by Arbor Medical Korporācija – a long-standing cooperation partner of e-radiologs.
e-radiologs is a family-owned company founded in 2008 that provides magnetic resonance imaging examinations in Sigulda and ultrasound examinations in Valmiera. The opening of the new MRI room on the premises of New Hanza Med significantly expands access to high-quality radiological diagnostics in Riga and throughout Latvia.
