Carillon Aparthotel begins welcoming guests

After approximately two years of reconstruction, renovation work on the new apartment hotel Carillon Aparthotel has been completed, and yesterday it opened its doors to its first guests. The hotel is located at 13 Pils Street, in the very heart of Old Riga — just a few steps from the Presidential Castle, museums and the city’s most popular leisure spots, making it a convenient choice both for short breaks in the Old Town and for long-term living.
Carillon Aparthotel offers 61 apartments – from compact studio rooms to spacious family apartments and refined “suite” apartments. All apartments have a convenient kitchen area, functional workspaces and a layout that allows guests to feel at home.
During the reconstruction, an energy-efficient heating system was introduced, the internal utility networks were modernized, and a quiet ventilation and air-conditioning system was installed. The interior has been designed in an Art Deco and Art Nouveau aesthetic, using natural materials and a nuanced color palette to create a refined and homely atmosphere.
An addition to the Keystone Collection portfolio
With the opening of the new hotel, the vision of creating the Keystone Collection hotel chain, launched in 2023, is being purposefully realized. The chain currently includes two hotels – Konventa Sēta Hotel and Carillon Aparthotel. Both are located just a short walk apart and naturally complement each other. The key difference is that Carillon Aparthotel will be especially suitable for travelers who wish to stay in Riga for a longer period – for weeks or even months.
The interiors and furnishings of both hotels were created by Latvian architects and designers, while the reconstruction of the building was carried out by the Pillar Contractor team, paying great attention to preserving the historical heritage. The Keystone Collection brand, as well as the hotel brands and websites, were developed by the advertising agency Driven.
