Carillon Aparthotel begins accepting reservations

In December, in one of the oldest parts of Old Riga – 13 Pils Street – the sophisticated apartment hotel Carillon Aparthotel will open its doors to guests – a significant addition to the Keystone Collection portfolio. Guests will be offered 61 modern and elegant apartments: ranging from comfortable, functional Superior apartments to spacious Signature Suite apartments with panoramic views of the Old Town scenery. Each apartment will have a fully equipped kitchen, a workspace, and everything needed to ensure maximum comfort for guests who require an extended stay in Riga.

The building is scheduled to be commissioned at the end of October, while Carillon Aparthotel will begin welcoming its first guests from 1 December.

“Carillon Aparthotel is the next step in the growth of the Keystone Collection brand. With this project, we are strengthening our presence in Old Riga by creating a hotel that will be an important player in Riga’s hospitality business. Thank you to the entire team for their hard work and creative energy!” emphasizes Jānis Vilisons, Chairman of the Board of AmberStone Hotels.

Carillon Aparthotel has been created in a reconstructed pre-war Art Nouveau building, first mentioned in the state archives in 1870. Over the years, this building has served as a rental house, a printing house, and a residential building. Now, after careful reconstruction, it has been transformed into a modern apartment hotel with its own historical story. Its name is borrowed from the carillon – a musical instrument made of bells arranged in rows, whose melodic sound symbolizes harmony and tradition. Much like the hotel itself, it offers a peaceful retreat in a historic setting.

With the opening of the new hotel, the vision of creating the Keystone Collection hotel chain, launched in 2023, is being purposefully realized. The chain currently includes two hotels – Konventa Sēta Hotel and Carillon Aparthotel. Both are located just a short walk apart and naturally complement each other. The key difference is that Carillon Aparthotel will be especially suitable for travelers who wish to stay in Riga for a longer period – for weeks or even months.

The hotels’ interiors and furnishings were created by Latvian architects and designers, while the building reconstruction was carried out by the Pillar Contractor team, with great attention paid to preserving the historical heritage. The brands and websites of both Keystone Collection and the two hotels were developed by the advertising agency Driven.

The official opening of Carillon Aparthotel, with the participation of cooperation partners and the media, is planned for spring 2026. To date, 12 million euros have been invested in the development of the new hotel.
