Pillar Contractor receives awards in the “Best Building in Latvia 2024” competition

On Wednesday, September 10, the annual award ceremony for the laureates of the year’s best buildings took place, and this year Pillar companies once again clearly demonstrated their quality.

In the “Residential New Building” category, 2nd place was awarded to the multi-apartment residential building projects built by Pillar Contractor in Riga – Dreiliņu priedes at Ēvalda Valtera Street 1 and Dārzciema liepas at Franča Trasuna Street 17. Both projects are being developed by Pillar Living.

Meanwhile, 1st place in the “Wooden Building” category was awarded to the 7th preschool educational institution in Salaspils at Rubeņu Street 2A, for which Pillar Contractor was the main contractor. The name of Pillar Contractor was heard once again in the “Socially Significant Building” category, where the award went to the CBRNE and human-caused disaster rescue operations training ground built by the company in Riga, at Krustpils Street 10.

The Best Building of the Year competition was held for the 27th time. The competition is organized by the Latvian Builders Association and the Latvian Association of Civil Engineers in cooperation with seventeen industry organizations, the State Construction Control Bureau, SJSC State Real Estate, the Latvian Association of Local and Regional Governments, Riga Technical University, the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, Riga Building College and RISEBA FAD.
