Pillar Contractor, SIA begins construction of a new energy-efficient apartment building in Dārzciems

Pillar Contractor, SIA, the real estate design and construction company owned by AmberStone Group, AS, began fulfilling a new construction contract in September of this year, which provides for the construction of one 5-storey multi-apartment residential building with 49 apartments, called “Dārzciema Liepas”.

The new building will be constructed in an area surrounded by single-storey buildings in Dārzciems, at 17 Franča Trasuna Street. It will consist of one A+ energy efficiency class building, offering two-, three- and four-room apartments with full interior finishing.

On the first floor of the building, there will be a lockable shared room for storing baby strollers and bicycles. For greater everyday convenience, the building will have an elevator. For residents’ comfort, a landscaped, enclosed and bright area, illuminated pedestrian paths and a children’s playground will also be provided. There are several kindergartens and schools in the immediate vicinity, which will make daily route planning easier for families with children.

The project is planned to be commissioned at the end of 2024, and the first residents will be able to receive the keys to their new homes as early as the beginning of 2025.

“Dārzciema Liepas” is already the third energy-efficient multi-apartment residential building project built by Pillar Contractor that has been launched in recent years. The first of these, called “Mežciema Mājas”, has already been commissioned in Mežciems, with a 79-apartment building constructed. The second project was launched this spring in Riga, at 17 Baltinavas Street, where three multi-apartment residential buildings called “Dreiliņu Priedes” are being built, with  122 apartments.
