The hotel “Konventa Sēta” wins 3rd place in the “Best Building of the Year in Latvia 2020” competition in the reconstruction category

The pandemic has also brought shifts to public events around the world, and construction competitions are no exception. Until now, the “Best Building of the Year in Latvia” competition looked back on and assessed the best work in the construction industry in the spring, but this year we learned about the awards only on September 21.

We are pleased to congratulate the hotel we manage, “Konventa Sēta”, on winning 3rd place in the “Best Building of the Year in Latvia 2020” competition in the reconstruction category. The jury appreciated our achievement in the work completed during the 2nd stage of reconstruction, within which two buildings with a total area of over 1,100 m2 were restored and 34 hotel rooms were renovated. The façades of both buildings were also restored, ramp access was built for people with special needs, and 2 rooms for people who use wheelchairs were built in the hotel. In addition, a habitable roof floor was built in the attic, with 3 new rooms.

Currently, including the 1st stage of renovation, 67 rooms have already been renovated, while the remaining 96 hotel rooms are planned to be renovated in the next two renovation stages.
