With an investment of 6.5 million euros, the “Rixwell Konventa Sēta” hotel begins the final reconstruction works
AmberStone Hotels, SIA, the hospitality business company of the holding company AmberStone Group, AS, has begun the third reconstruction phase of the hotel “Rixwell Konventa Sēta” under its management. In the final phase of the hotel reconstruction, 6 building blocks with 94 hotel rooms will be reconstructed.
To date, AmberStone Hotels has invested more than 5 million euros in the first two reconstruction phases of the hotel “Rixwell Konventa Sēta”, reconstructing 3 building blocks with 67 rooms. Up to 6.5 million euros are planned to be invested in the final reconstruction phase.
The reconstruction work will be continued by the construction and design company Pillar Contractor, which carried out the second-phase works. The quality of the work performed by Pillar Contractor, SIA is evidenced by the hotel reconstruction’s assessment in the construction competition “Best Building of the Year in Latvia 2020”, where 3rd place was awarded in the “Reconstruction” category. An award was also received in the competition “Latvian Construction Annual Award 2020” organized by the association Building Design and Construction Council.
As part of the final reconstruction works, new internal engineering networks will be installed: electrical networks, heating, ventilation, cooling, water supply and sewerage, low-current networks, data networks, telephone lines, an access control system, a video surveillance system and a fire detection alarm system; external utilities will be replaced, façades renovated, and a new interior design introduced. In addition to the reconstruction of the buildings, the outdoor space of the hotel complex will be landscaped.
After the completion of all reconstruction works, planned for spring 2023, guests of the hotel “Rixwell Konventa Sēta” will have access to a total of 161 rooms with 4 superior-star quality.
